John Billingsley

I first saw John Billingsley as Prof. Miles Ballard on the short-lived TV show The Others. The show was about a team of psychics. Ballard was the only non-psychic on the show. I was sad when the show was canceled after thirteen episodes. I thought it had potential.

A few months later, a friend forced me to watch the pilot episode of the new Star Trek series Enterprise. While watching I kept looking at two actors thinking that I knew them from somewhere. Dr. Phlox turned out to be John and he quickly became my favorite character on the show. The other actor, Dominic Keating (Lt. Reed) was on a show called The Immortal, which was filmed in Vancouver (where I live), so I had actually seen him around.

John had an online book club that I joined. John picked a book, everyone in the club read it and wrote a review (including John), and then we all got together in a chat room with John to discuss the book. It was a lot of fun and I'm sad that he's not doing it any more. I made friends with a couple of local women and we still get together every now and then.

Near the beginning of the book club, John was cast as a guest star in Stargate SG-1 playing a Trek fan. Local book club members got together and sent flowers to his trailer to welcome him to Vancouver on his first day on set.

In 2001, I went to a Trek convention in Seattle where John was speaking. I found his Q& A session to be very interesting. John was obviously intelligent and very funny. I didn't get to meet him that day. A few months later, I went to a Trek convention in Las Vegas (a must for any true Trekkie.) John was supposed to be there but he had to cancel because he got an acting job. I had a good time anyway.

The next year I was in LA for a couple of charity events with Trek people. A bunch of us from the book club offered to take John and his wife Bonnie out for dinner. About nine of us ended up in a little Indian restaurant in Pasadena before moving on to a local bar. The picture at the left is from that night. It was a great time.

I decided to build this page because John has done so much work that I haven't seen. By putting together information on his career in one place I'm pushing myself to go out and look for things that John has been in. So far I haven't been disappointed.

Billingsley was born in Media, Pennsylvania and raised in Connecticut. He studied theatre at Bennington College in Vermont before moving to Seattle, Washington. In Seattle, Billingsley helped found Book-It, a theatre company specializing in stage adaptations, and Freehold, an acting studio. In the early 1990s, Billingsley began to appear in minor roles on television and film.

Billingsley currently resides in Los Angeles, California and remains active in theater. He is married to actress Bonita Friedericy, with whom he has worked on a number of projects.

He made a memorable appearance in an episode of The X-Files, playing a friend of the Lone Gunmen who turns out to be a government spy. He was cast in the role of Professor Miles Ballard in the short-lived television series The Others and then as the eccentric alien Doctor Phlox in the fifth Star Trek series, Star Trek: Enterprise. He played himself in an episode of Roswell that played on the Enterprise set.[1] He also starred in the independent film Breathing Hard (2000) in the same year. In 2002, he was a guest star in an episode of Stargate SG-1, playing a scientist who is also a Trekkie, "worship[ping] at the altar of Roddenberry". He also had a sizeable role as Denzel Washington's coroner friend in the 2003 film Out of Time.

He is well known to fans of the series Cold Case for his guest appearance in the show's second season playing serial killer George Marks. His character had the distinction of being the only killer on the show to get away with murder. Billingsley would later reprise the role in the season finale, in which George was finally killed. This is certainly not his only memorable on screen death, having already been whacked on the head with a frying pan in the first season of Six Feet Under to become the "Death of the week" in episode "The New Person".

More recently he appeared in the first season of the series Prison Break as the mysterious Terrence Steadman, brother of the Vice-President, whose death is faked to frame Lincoln Burrows for murder. Soon after he was cast as a regular on the series The Nine. Consequently, this left him unable to continue his role as Steadman and was replaced in the role by Jeff Perry. In 2005, he played the voice of Trask in Ultimate Spider-Man. In November 2006, John portrayed William Bradford on two episodes of the podcast The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd. In May 2007 he appeared on "NCIS" as a blind photographer in the episode, "In The Dark". He will appear in the seventh season of 24 as a recurring character. On October 8, 2007, he also made a guest appearance on Journeyman as the character Alan Platt. He also made a guest appearance in an October 2007 episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and in 2006 on the spinoff series CSI: NY.

He and his wife have also appeared as themselves on the HGTV series My House Is Worth What?, in which a real estate expert toured their home and provided commentary for viewers before providing an appraisal.

He currently plays a coroner in the HBO series True Blood.

John and his wife Bonita Friedericy have joined the cast of the latest Macabre Mansion production which will be released as an audio drama in October 2010.

"The Fall Of The House Of Usher" is an Audio Drama adaptation of the classic short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe. This adaptation stays true to Poe's original vision with only minor changes in dialogue. The script consists of four speaking roles; Roderick Usher, Madeline Usher, the family Doctor and the Narrator who is an un-named childhood friend of Roderick. The Audio Drama will have the same feel and style of the classic Old Time Radio shows.

This Audio Drama is the first in a series of planed Macabre Mansion Original recordings. Our goal is to produce and preserve significant works of classic literature in an audio theater format, and provide the widest possible access and exposure to these great classic works.

Wabisabi Matahari, owner of Second Life's Star Trek museum, is shutting it down after four years. "For a long time our house sales and donations have been inadequate to pay the huge Linden Labs bills," he said. "On top of that, Linden Labs has made it more difficult to attract people to the museum. We cannot be in the Showcase because we use copyrighted material. Our events, which brought hundreds of new visitors a week, and donations, have been disallowed, while yard sales, nude beaches, penis stores and fake contests are allowed to flourish) and it is especially difficult to sell homes with all the limitations and expense of advertising."

Whilst driving in the car with his daughter Emily, Latham was kidnapped by a group of terrorists led by former CTU agent Tony Almeida. Latham was taken from his car after another vehicle collided with him and put in the back of a black van, which then quickly drove away.

Latham was taken to Almeida's workstation where he was forced to "fix" a device for the terrorists so they could get past the Firewall Project which he designed. After doing so, Masters, one of Almeida's henchmen, took the device from him and implemented it to hack an airplane's coordination computers. However, the device did not appear to work and so Almeida took it back to Latham and demanded that he fixed it, or he would kill him.

John played Barry/Larry

Danny and Elena are in bed, he gives her a necklace but she doesn't know what it's for.

A biker speeds down a street. A truck crosses in front of him. He crashes. Then we see it all in reverse, the guy pedals backward then onward again and back into the truck. He wakes up in bed. We see him leave in the morning, in a wheelchair. He drives to work in a retrofitted minivan. A friend from high school pulls up alongside him, inviting him to play basketball. He says his legs don't work. The friend is embarrassed and drives away.

Later, Chris Howe's wheelchair has been found in a Dumpster. Jack talks to Chris's brother, who doesn't know why Chris's wheelchair would have been in Queens, where his wheelchair was found. He was hit by a truck two years ago and is suing the truck company for $5 million. His wife says the truck's breaks hadn't been serviced in a long time.

Chris had told his brother that he being followed. Chris was frustrated, wondering why the truck company wouldn't do the right thing. Chris' tires were slashed a few weeks ago. His brother has a license plate number. The insurance company denies hiring someone to harass Chris.

The hard drive from Chris's computer was wiped clean. Sam notices Elena's necklace, she says she thought she'd treat herself.

Viv and Danny visit Chris's usual bar. The bartender tells them about a guy. Flashback: Chris talking to a girl at the bar when a man interrupts. Chris tries to keep talking to her when the man gets in the way. Chris tries to warn him off, but the guy shoves him to the floor, asking if there's something wrong with his legs. He's left humiliated on the floor.

Sam and Jack interview the P.I. who leased the car following Chris. He says if Chris was in trouble, he brought it on himself. He was into some sick stuff. The PI hacked Chris' computer and found photos of a teenage girl.

The team gets the transcripts of his chats with "Kit Kat," a 14 year old girl. Martin describes them as "creepy." In one chat she gave Chris an address where they were supposed to meet that day.

Jack knocks on her door and she welcomes him in when he calls her "Kit Kat." She says she's going to get changed and Jack shows her his badge. She calls for "Anton," who comes out of the closet with a video camera.

Anton tells them Chris worked for Twisted Vengeance, a pedophile entrapment organization. He wanted to be cop and felt helping put pedophiles in prison was the next best thing. Chris video-taped while "Kit Kat" posed as a teen. They send the info to local law enforcement when they're done.

They tell Jack about an older dude, Barry who came to see "Kit Kat" and then Anton confronted him. When Barry tries to get the camera from Chris, Chris pulls a gun on him. They don't have the video because someone broke in. Chris thought Barry stole the tapes.

At work, Elena snuggles up behind Danny and gives him something to celebrate "their special day."

Through a database search of sex offenders, Viv finds "Barry," really "Larry." Danny and Martin track him down at a motel. Larry's been out for a month after molesting his step-daughter. They find Larry dead inside. The shell casing is from the same kind of gun Chris registered. They find two root beers bottles with two sets of prints.

Jack offers a man named Wallace a root beer. His prints were found at the crime scene. He was Larry's cell mate. He says he doesn't know who Chris was, but he knows he was in a wheel chair.

Wallace watched from the closet as Chris confronted Larry about the tape. Larry gives it to Chris, but begs him not to give it to the cops. Chris hits Larry as he tries to explain. Larry breaks down sobbing and apologizing. When Chris relaxes, Larry grabs the gun from his hand, says he can't go back to prison, and shoots himself in the head.

Viv says the M.E. confirms it was a suicide and they wonder where Chris might have gone after witnessing it. They find Chris used a pay phone to call his brother who says he doesn't know anything about a suicide. Chris had told him he was dropping the lawsuit.

He said the accident was his fault, the driver never saw him coming. His light went out. He says he couldn't make people pay for what he's done anymore. Chris said he knows his brother needs the money and he'll try to pay him back. He disappeared the next morning.

Ray Bennett, the truck driver who hit Chris, tried to sell Chris's wheelchair at a chop shop, Martin reports. At the chop shop they find Ray and Chris's van. Ray says Chris showed up to apologize, saying the accident wasn't his fault.

"Sorry" doesn't cut it for Ray, who lost his job, his home and his family after the accident. Chris gave him his van, which Danny doesn't immediately believe.

Ray says someone drove up and got Chris after a while in a Sable, which Danny believes. Viv tells Sam to check Bill Kowalski, also known as "Anton." Turns out, he drives a Sable.

They find Chris on his back in a basement next to a dead Anton. Chris says Anton just wouldn't stop.

Chris told Anton he's done. He cleaned his hard drive and was going to the police about Larry. Anton said Chris can't, it's just what the police have just been waiting for. Anton yelled at Chris, trying to convince him what they're doing is important. Then Anton grabbed Chris and yanks him out of his chair, choking him until he passed out. When Chris woke up he was wrapped in plastic. He figures Anton thought he killed him.

Anton came back to get rid of Chris's body. Anton said he won't go to prison for kidnapping and started beating Chris with a baseball bad. Chris grabbed a nearby screwdriver and impaled him. He doesn't understand why Anton wouldn't let him start over.

Martin tells him about Anton's real name and that he was sexually assaulted when he was young. In his mind, Chris was going to stop him from making people pay.

True Blood is an American television drama series created by Alan Ball, based on the The Southern Vampire Mysteries book series by Charlaine Harris. The show is broadcast on the premium cable network HBO in the United States. It is produced by HBO in association with Ball's production company, Your Face Goes Here Entertainment. It premiered on September 7, 2008. The show has been renewed for a second season.

True Blood details the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional small Louisiana town. The series centers on Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress at a bar, who falls in love with vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).

Plot summary

Thanks to a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many remain apprehensive about these creatures "coming out of the coffin." Religious leaders and government officials around the world have chosen their sides, but in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps, the jury is still out.

Local waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), however, knows how it feels to be an outcast. "Cursed" with the ability to listen in on people's thoughts, she's also open-minded about the integration of vampires - particularly when it comes to Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. But as Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill's arrival in Bon Temps, that tolerance will be put to the test.

An ambulance crash endangers the lives of the paramedics involved, as Meredith and the Chief work on-site to save them, Bailey treats a patient who refuses her help, and Ava returns for Alex and meets his other girlfriend in the process. Meredith battles to save aparamedic trapped inside an ambulance, and Bailey struggles to balance her personal life with her career. Lexie holds the life of a patient in her hands, while Derek has to rely on the help of a nurse to save another.

John played Paul Cydon

When a young man is found hanging from a tree strangled to death, the CSIs move in to find the killer. It appears that the man, Brian, was taking hormone injections in preparation for a sex reassignment surgery. But as usual, there's more to the story. Brian lived near a local water treatment reservoir where children often swam and fished. The recycled reservoir water was considered "grey," meaning purified, though it was not meant to be drunk.

A former hydrologist, Paul Cyden, had enlisted Brian's help to find out the truth about the reservoir. The water had been contaminated with pharmaceuticals, which had leaked into ground water in the town as well. After Paul is murdered in his home, Brian's mother is identified as Paul's shooter. She had misunderstood Paul and Brian's connection, and believed he had murdered her son. But Brian had killed himself, unable to deal with the humiliation of his misshapen body. To make matters worse, Brian's mother, ill with cancer, ultimately discovers that her cancer is also due to the water's contamination.

Sara continues to work alongside Ronnie Lake on swing shift, and they handle the case of a body found at a construction site. With Greg's help, they deduce that the man had been a reporter covering the opening of a casino (built by Catherine's father, Sam). He died with a film canister in his hands. When Greg develops the film, he discovers evidence that the gaming commissioner at the time was on the take. Sam's bodyguard, Benny Dunbar, killed the reporter to keep the news quiet. Lily, Catherine's mother, helps out on the case, and Greg takes her out to get more information from her for the book he's writing on Vegas.

Meanwhile, as Grissom continues his study of bees, he makes a proposal of marriage to Sara. She willingly accepts.

The Nine was a short-lived American television serial drama that premiered October 4, 2006, on ABC, in the 10 o'clock (Eastern Standard Time zone) slot after Lost. In Canada, the series debuted on CTV on October 10. In the UK, the show was picked up by Five; it was due to begin airing in 2007 until. However, it was not actually shown by that network until July 2008, when it began airing on Five's sister channel, Five US.

However, in late November 2006, ABC took The Nine off its schedule. Plot

Nine people, mostly strangers to each other, are linked together when they are held hostage in a bank robbery gone wrong. In each episode, viewers learn new details of the 52-hour standoff, of which only brief snippets are seen.

The Pilot episode establishes the events which the rest of the series will embellish. Two men enter the bank, armed, and quickly restrain both the security guard and an off-duty police officer. Viewers see details of what brought each person to the bank that day.

Some time after the end of the standoff, the former hostages arrange a meeting with one another in an effort to stay in touch and help each other. Various characters also form relationships apart from the group and maintain regular contact with each other during the week, while others are connected through relationships that predate the events in the bank.

Characters

Eva Rios (Lourdes Benedicto): A teller in the bank that is robbed and a single mother. Eva is injured during the standoff and dies shortly thereafter. Eva is Franny's sister.

Egan Foote (John Billingsley): A data processor by trade, Egan began the series severely depressed and suicidal. He was in the bank the day of the robbery to kill himself in the bank's bathroom. After the standoff he is hailed as a hero and feels that he has a "new lease on life".

Lizzie Miller (Jessica Collins): A social worker. Lizzie was in a serious relationship with Jeremy at the beginning of the series, she had found out she was pregnant before walking into the bank.

Nick Cavanaugh (Tim Daly): A police officer who happens to be a customer in the bank when the robbery starts. Nick had a gambling problem. Just prior to the robbery Nick and Eva had arranged to go out on a date.

Felicia Jones (Dana Davis): High-school student and daughter of Malcolm. Felicia was in the bank when the robbery occurred. After the standoff she develops amnesia and doesn't remember anything from the entire event.

Franny Rios (Camille Guaty): Bank teller and Eva's sister.

Malcolm Jones (Chi McBride): Bank manager and Felicia's father.

Kathryn Hale (Kim Raver): Assistant district attorney. Kathryn was in the bank with her Mother at the time of the robbery, her mother was set free. Kathryn's boyfriend proposed after the robbery, she accepted, but has a connection with Nick.

Jeremy Kates (Scott Wolf): Cardiothoracic surgeon. Jeremy was in a serious relationship with Lizzie at the start of the series.

Lucas Dalton (Owain Yeoman): One of the two bank robbers. His brother is the other robber. Lucas seems to have a strange relationship to Felicia.

The gang are in a park, having a nighttime picnic with Chinese food. Fred scans everyone for bugs, since the gang are trying to meet without Wolfram & Hart listening in. She tries to tell the others that not everyone at the firm is evil; Wesley wonders if she can really trust Knox. Angel points out that the Senior Partners are evil and have put them in this position for a reason they still don't know. Fred wonders if Gunn knows more than the rest of them do, since the firm put a bunch of knowledge in his head. Gunn says that they all made deals and everyone got something out of it. Angel got "fear, mistrust, a great motor pool," and Lorne got "the Nancy Sinatra collection." Wesley got a nice pen. Gunn accuses the others of thinking that he's a spy for the Senior Partners; Angel replies that they just need to be prepared. As the others talk about Spike, Angel asks Wesley if he can borrow his pen. Nearby, a young woman named Nina (Jenny Mollen) is attacked by a werewolf. The werewolf bites the woman, then gets attacked by Angel, who shoves Wesley's silver pen into his chest. The werewolf turns back into a human and the woman runs off. At Wolfram & Hart the next day, Angel has a sketch of the woman from the park and tells Gunn that the werewolf bit the woman. Gunn says that there are two more nights in which the werewolf can be wolfy. Angel says that they need to find the woman, since she won't know what happened to her. Gunn says that McManus, the werewolf Angel killed, has been leaving trails of the people he's killed; Angel thinks that he felt that he was alone, but the woman doesn't have to be.

Spike pays Fred a visit in her office, asking her to consider his condition a priority over the woman from the park. He tells her that his disappearances "to the netherworld" are lasting longer, like something's trying to pull him over to the other side. Fred suggests that Spike let Wesley help him, but Spike says that he and Wesley have a history stemming back to when Wesley had just graduated from the Watcher's Academy. Fred doesn't believe him, so Spike admits that he just doesn't want anyone else to know what's going on with him, especially Angel. Fred assures him that they'll figure things out, since she has a lot of resources. Later, though, Angel complains to the others that the firm is useless since they can't find the woman from the park. He sends them out to try to get more information. A man named Dr. Royce studies McManus' body, noting that he's a rare breed of werewolf. Spike brags about a long battle he once had with a werewolf and Fred tells him that Angel killed McManus with a pen. At her place, Nina wakes up after a restless sleep and heads to the kitchen, where her sister Jill and niece Amanda are cooking. Nina discovers that her hearing is a little improved and she doesn't remember getting the bruise on her neck. She closely studies hamburgers cooking on the stove and imagines slashing Amanda's neck. Back at the science lab, the gang try to follow some leads. Gunn finally gets access to traffic camera feeds, getting Nina's license plate number, address, and name. That night, Nina baby-sits Amanda; she starts feeling sick and goes upstairs, where she begins to turn into a werewolf.

Angel heads to Nina's and pulls her out through her bedroom window to the ground. Wesley stops Nina with a tranquilizer dart. The next day, Nina - back to being human - wakes up naked in a cell. Angel pays her a visit and tries to tell her that she's safe. He shows her a video of herself as a wolf in the cell the night before. She's upset with her new condition and the fact that she wanted to hurt Amanda. He tries to tell her that it wasn't really her, but the monster inside of her; he confides that he's a vampire and isn't evil, just as she isn't. Nina asks if he can cure her and Angel says that he can't, but he can protect her. Angel meets up with Fred and Royce, telling them that Nina agreed to stay in the holding cell again that night. Spike appears, excited to be able to observe a werewolf. Royce warns that Nina might hurt herself, but she might be okay if they take her back to her place so that the familiarity will calm her. Spike says that Nina is a killer now, and sooner or later, she'll get out of her cage and kill. He adds that she'll feel guilty afterward, since she has a soul. Angel finally agrees to let Nina go home and Fred offers to take her. Fred and Nina head to Nina's place; Fred tries to tell her that her life doesn't have to change too much, since she's only a werewolf three nights out of the month. She talks about how Angel saved her from Pylea and Nina notes that he saves a lot of women. She asks if he and Fred are dating and Fred says that Angel doesn't date.

Angel meets with Gunn in Gunn's office; Gunn tries to cheer him up by reminding him that he saved Nina's life. Angel says that that doesn't change the fact that Nina has to deal with being a werewolf. Lorne arrives as Gunn leaves and tries to get Angel to sing for him. He notes that Angel has been cranky ever since Spike came back, adding that he's letting it affect his work. As Fred and Nina are about to enter Nina's house, Nina says that she's changed her mind because she doesn't want to have to face Jill and Amanda yet. Inside, Fred introduces herself and makes up a story about Nina leaving suddenly because Fred needed her help. Nina and Jill fight and Nina leaves while Fred grabs some familiar things for her. They head back to the van they came in, but Fred notices that the door is open, then sees that the security guards are dead. She tells Nina to run as she pulls out her tranquilizer gun, but a guy knocks her out and grabs Nina. Nina is taken to the basement of a mansion and chained up. A woman cuts off her clothes and scrubs her down. Back at Wolfram & Hart, Royce sings "Jessie's Girl" for Lorne, who confirms that he's clean. Next door in Angel's office, the others try to figure out who might have grabbed Nina and why. Fred criticizes herself for going near the van when it was obvious that something was wrong; she also worries that Spike hasn't materialized for a while. As Royce arrives with some info, Fred spots Spike in the hallway and goes out to talk to him. She tries to follow him, but he doesn't seem to hear her. She winds up in an office and sees something strange in a trash can, but is interrupted by Royce. She babbles for a little while, then knocks Royce out with a lamp.

Fred explains to the group that she found an empty vial in Royce's trash can which contained Calendula; Royce must have suspected that he would have to sing for Lorne, so he took a drug that would make him appear to be clean when he wasn't. She reveals that Spike led her to the vial. Gunn discovers that Royce's desk has a false bottom which holds photos, papers, and a knife. Angel beats up Royce and demands to know where Nina is; Royce doesn't want to tell him, thinking that the guy he'd be betraying is scarier than Angel. Angel would like to prove otherwise. Fred, Wesley, and Gunn search through Royce's private stuff and find a paper that contains something shocking. They give it to Angel, who's figured out where Nina is. On the paper is a menu, and come moonrise - in about 15 minutes - Nina (who's tied up at a banquet hall in a mansion, fully conscious) will be the main course. Anticipating the feast, the dinner guests, who have paid handsomely for the privilege of dining on werewolf, are completely unperturbed by the fact that they will, incidentally, be murdering a terrified human being.

The gang head to the banquet hall. Wesley says that Nina's captors will keep her alive because, even after moonrise transforms her to wolf-form (in which form her captors intend to eat her), she will revert to human form after death, meaning she will be eaten alive, although Nina, whose human identity would be submerged beneath the wolf persona like before, would have no awareness during the actual feast. Angel starts to rescue Nina, who tells him to just let her get eaten. She doesn't think that she can ever go home and is resigned to being what wealthy restaurant entrepreneur John Crane and his guests consider her to be, a livestock animal. Angel frees her anyway, but before the gang can leave, they're surrounded by men with guns. The fighting and shooting starts, and Nina turns into a werewolf, providing some unexpected help to the group. Gunn hesitates before shooting Nina; Wesley shoots her with a tranquilizer dart to save him. Angel announces that they're taking Nina home, but the guy hosting the party says that he promised his guests a werewolf. Werewolf Nina (motivated by bestial instinct, not Nina's submerged human consciousness) bites Royce's leg and Angel says that in a month, Royce will be a werewolf and they can eat him then. Royce is understandably unhappy about this development.

Later that night, Fred returns to her office to find Spike. He tells her that he wasn't sure he would return from the netherworld this time. She notes that he led her to Royce's office, though he probably didn't do it on purpose. She wants to tell Angel what's going on with him, but Spike refuses. Fred tells him that she's going to find a way to keep him in the world for good. Angel drives Nina home and, even though she made no conscious choice to kill anyone at the mansion, she asks how he can live, knowing that he's killed people. Angel tells her that fighting back wasn't bad for her to do, since the people were going to eat her (Considering that she was abducted, stripped naked, manhandled, and dehumanized to the point of literally being treated like meat by over a dozen people who were eager to sentence her to certain death, Nina seems remarkably untraumatized by her experience.). He says eventually she'll accept being a werewolf as a part of her. She doesn't want to tell Jill and Amanda and Angel says that she gave him “a look.”

Out of Time is a 2003 thriller film, directed by Carl Franklin featuring Denzel Washington.

Plot

Matthias Lee Whitlock (Denzel Washington) is police chief of a small Florida town just outside of Miami. In the process of getting a divorce from the woman he still loves, Alex Diaz-Whitlock (Eva Mendes), Chief Whitlock has begun to have an affair with Ann Merai Harrison (Sanaa Lathan), wife of abusive ex-football quarterback Chris Harrison (Dean Cain). When he learns that Ann has terminal cancer and doesn't have long to live, Chief Whitlock's stupidity gets the better of him. He steals $450,000 cash that is waiting to be sent to the feds in order to help her out, but when both Ann and Chris' dead bodies are discovered the next morning, all of the signs point to Chief Whitlock. As the clamps begin to tighten and the excuses begin to lose their already shaky groundings, Chief Whitlock must use his cunning to track down the money and clear his name once and for all.

A Goa'uld named Khonsu has learned of SG-1’s location and orders his First Prime, Herak, to capture the team.

On another world, three scientists research a Ring Transporter. One of them, Jay Felger, is fascinated with watching SG-1. He giddily talks with Col. O'Neill and Teal'c, when the two are suddenly called by Carter. O'Neill orders the scientists to stay put while he assists Carter. Felger begins to quarrel with one of his colleagues when an Al'kesh suddenly screeches overhead. Felger contacts SG-1, which is under attack by several Jaffa. The three scientists hurriedly run to the scene, only to see the team transported away. Felger valiantly decides to use the ring transporter to ring himself and another comrade, Coombs, aboard the nearby ha’tak, while the third reports back to General Hammond and Stargate Command.

On the ship SG-1 is sequestered in a cell, discussing their fate, when suddenly Herak enters and speaks of SG-1’s future. In the meantime, Felger and Coombs slip through the ship in search for SG-1. They find them, much to O'Neill’s dismay. He angrily reveals to the bumbling pair that their capture was planned in order to contact a Tok'ra. SG-1 is able to procure the assistance of two free Jaffa to move the scientists to a safe location whilst they carry out their mission.

The ha'tak arrives on Khonsu’s planet where SG-1 is imprisoned in a special cell inside of Khonsu's base. On the ship, the two free Jaffa are shot down as known traitors, much to the shock of the two scientists. Coombs panics but Felger calmly assures his partner that he has a plan. They disguise themselves as Jaffa and ring to the planet under protest from Coombs. Inside the fortress, Herak confronts Khonsu and shoots him. He exposes Khonsu to the other Jaffa as the Tok'ra spy and orders that their allegiance now belongs to Anubis. He promptly takes over command and orders SG-1 be brought before him. They are told of Khonsu’s untimely demise. O'Neill is tortured with a pain staff so that he reveals where the Tok'ra are. However, he knows nothing, thus the team is taken away.

Back at SGC, Hammond is informed that Khonsu was killed but knows they are powerless to do anything without knowing SG-1's location. The two other scientists, again in search for SG-1, find a control room with access to the entire base. They contact SG-1 and, with the help of Carter, Coombs is able to lower the energy field holding SG-1. In the meantime, Felger brings the team weapons. They formulate a plan to take out the Jaffa outside the base, while Coombs aids from the control room. SG-1 successfully immobilizes the Jaffa on the ground despite overwhelming numbers. However, Felger relays the fact that Coombs is trapped inside the control room, nearly breached by Jaffa. Coombs beams Col. O'Neill and Teal'c inside the base who decimate the Jaffa and rescue him. The three ring to the planet and leave through the Stargate.

Back at the base, Felger and Coombs are honored in a ceremony as heroes by General Hammond, Col. O’Neill personally thanks the two, and Carter passionately kisses Felger. However, it fades into a maladroit Felger daydreaming, and the scientist realizes his job may be better than the life-threatening missions of SG-1. The whole mission seems like a daydream, but it is revealed in Full Circle and Avenger 2.0 it was indeed real.

An assistant to a blind photographer sees a dead Petty Officer in one of his pictures and they call NCIS to investigate. The team arrives but with no body, they are without a trace. Luckily, the photographer is able to recall where he was when he made the photo and they find a dead Petty Officer, who was working for the DLA. The DLA office tells Tony and Ziva that there was an investigation regarding this sailor and alleged connections to competitors and treason.

Meanwhile the team finds out about one of the dead sailor's colleagues, David Wong, was with him before his death and they think he is connected to the murder. They set out to find him, just to find him dead in an abandoned DLA warehouse, apparently having hanged himself.

Gibbs does not believe that Wong killed himself and Tony notices that he signed his death letter, in which he claims responsibility for the Marine's death, with the middle initial "B." while his middle name was "George". On closer inspection the "B" turns out to be a "I3", the designation of both men's department. The team, with a clue from Abby, turns to the photographer's assistant though because she is barely visible in one of the photos despite having claimed to be at the office at that time. It turns out that she was following him, not because of the murder, but because she is in love with him. The team thus turns back to the "I3"-clue and they finally find out that the whole thing was planned by an officer with the Inspector General. The main clue involves the blind photographer's sense of smell, leading to the identification of the killer.

In the side story lines, both Gibbs and Tony experience relationship issues. Hollis Mann is retiring from the Army and wants a definite answer from Gibbs, whether he is ready for a serious relationship with her. Jeanne Benoit is losing her apartment and Tony offers that they move in together but he is having second thoughts about it. Both issues are left mostly unanswered in the end of the episode, though Gibbs appears to be ready to embrace his relationship, demonstrating his commitment to Mann by embarking on a lengthy plumbing project in her bathroom. Jimmy Palmer, on the other hand, finds that his liaisons with Special Agent Lee are coming close to home when Ducky finds Lee's bra in a cabinet in the autopsy room. Jimmy realises that the matching panties are still missing, which sends him on a panty-hunt throughout NCIS HQ.

The clues lead to a man named George Marks. They know he's guilty but they have no evidence. He walks away a free man.

The Woods

The discovery of nine human skulls leads the team back to the serial killer they were unable to incriminate months earlier and as the detectives reinvestigate his mother's murder from 1972, he emerges from hiding to face Det. Rush one-on-one. They are both forced to face horrible attacks from their past.

Star Trek: Enterprise was a science fiction television program created by Brannon Braga and Rick Berman set in the Star Trek universe created by Gene Roddenberry. The series followed the adventures of humanity's first Warp 5 starship, Enterprise, ten years before the United Federation of Planets shown in previous Star Trek episodes was formed.

Enterprise premiered on September 26, 2001. The pilot episode, "Broken Bow", takes place in the year 2151, halfway between the 21st-century events shown in the movie Star Trek: First Contact and the original Star Trek television series.

Low ratings prompted UPN to cancel Star Trek: Enterprise on February 2, 2005, but the network allowed the series to complete its fourth season. The final episode aired on May 13, 2005. After a run of four seasons and 98 episodes, it was the first Star Trek series since the original Star Trek to have been canceled by its network rather than finished by its producers. It is also the last series in an 18-year run of back-to-back new Star Trek shows beginning with Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1987.

Plot

Seasons 1 and 2

The first two seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise depict the exploration of interstellar space by the crew of an Earth ship able to go farther and faster than any humans had previously gone, due to the breaking of the Warp 5 barrier, analogous to the Bell X-1 breaking the sound barrier. The crew faces situations that are familiar to Star Trek fans, but are unencumbered and unjaded by the experience and rules which have built up over hundreds of years of Trek history established in previous Star Trek series. Star Trek: Enterprise takes pains to show the origins of some concepts which have become taken for granted in Star Trek canon, such as Lt. Reed's development of force fields and Captain Archer's questions about cultural interference eventually being answered by later series' Prime Directive.

A recurring plot device is the Temporal Cold War, in which a mysterious entity from the 27th century uses the Cabal, a group of genetically upgraded Suliban, to manipulate the timeline and change past events. Sometimes sabotaging Enterprise's mission and sometimes saving the ship from destruction, the entity's motives are unknown. Agent Daniels, a temporal agent from the 31st century, visits Captain Archer occasionally to assist him in fighting the Suliban and undoing damage to the timeline.

In the past eighty years since Star Trek: First Contact, the Vulcans have been mentoring humanity to what they see as an appropriate level of civilization, routinely holding back scientific knowledge in an effort to keep humans stranded close to home, believing them to be too irrational and emotionally-dominated to function properly in an interstellar community. When Enterprise finally sets out, the Vulcans are often conspicuously close by. This generates some conflict as, in several early episodes, Archer and others complain bitterly of the Vulcans' unsubtle methods of checking up on them.

Season 3

Low ratings encouraged the series' producers to seek a new direction. In analyzing past Trek movie successes, a storyline where the Earth was put in jeopardy was devised, as such a story had proven popular before, as in Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. The third season also sees the change of the series' name to Star Trek: Enterprise as well as an updated main title theme. Season three introduces the Xindi, an enemy bent on annihilating humanity via a planet-destroying super weapon similar to Star Wars' Death Star.

The third season follows a single story arc, beginning in the second season finale "The Expanse", in which a mysterious probe cuts a wide, deep trench from central Florida to Venezuela, killing seven million people. Enterprise is recalled and retrofitted as a warship, with more powerful weapons and a group of elite Military Assault Command Operations (MACOs), the precursor to the heavily armed Starfleet security personnel of later Star Trek series. Enterprise travels through an area known as the Delphic Expanse to find the Xindi homeworld and prevent another attack against Earth.

Season 4

Season 4 produced a mixture of two- and three-episode arcs, with few standalone episodes. After closing out the Temporal Cold War and Xindi arcs in the first three episodes, the general theme of the season was a refocus on the prequel concept of the series, with many episodes referencing themes, concepts, and characters from past series. The fourth season saw Brent Spiner (Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation) as the imprisoned scientist Dr. Arik Soong, an ancestor of Data's creator, in a three-episode arc at the end of which Soong abandons the concept of improving mankind in favour of creating artificial intelligence: a reference to what will eventually become Data.

The Soong episodes later gave rise to a story arc where the Klingons were attempting to improve their species through the continuation of Soong's work. This allowed for an explanation of why the TOS Klingons lacked brow ridges and were much more human looking than any of the other series.

Season 4 also addressed some discrepancies between the Vulcans of The Original Series and those depicted in Star Trek: Enterprise. In the Vulcan Civil War arc, Romulan subversion of the Vulcan High Command leads to a splinter group of Vulcans opposed to the High Command's actions, believing those actions to be against the teachings of Surak, the mythic leader who brought logic to Vulcan. After this storyline, Vulcans began a cultural transformation that was presumably a turn toward the more dispassionate, honest Vulcans of Trek series set further in the future.

In the final story arc of the season, a human terrorist group called Terra Prime, bent on removing all non-humans from human planets, genetically engineers a child from DNA samples of Commander Tucker and Subcommander T'pol. They use the baby as a means to rile up humans who have become afraid of aliens since the Xindi conflict, and launch a campaign from Mars to drive the alien outsiders from human space. This storyline has been said by producers to represent how humanity must overcome its own bigotry and hatred in order to become the human race seen in later Treks.

The series cancellation was announced prior to the writing of the final episode of the fourth season, allowing the writers to craft a series finale. This final episode, titled "These Are the Voyages ...", aired May 13, 2005, in the United States, and was one of the most heavily criticized episodes of the Star Trek franchise, much of the criticism focusing on the premise, which essentially reduced the finale to a holodeck adventure from an earlier Star Trek series. The episode featured guest appearances by Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis as their Star Trek: The Next Generation characters William Riker and Deanna Troi. The show took place during the TNG episode "The Pegasus". Brent Spiner lent his voice to the finale, and is briefly heard as Data.

Archer feels an immense amount of pressure concerning his mission, especially when hunting the Xindi to save Earth from destruction. Subsequently he is assigned Earth-local or diplomatic missions. Instrumental in founding the Federation.

T'Pol (Jolene Blalock), originally attached to the Enterprise by the Vulcan High Command to keep the humans out of trouble. Becomes very loyal to Archer, leaving her position in the High Command to accompany him, find the Xindi, and later join Starfleet. A version of T'Pol who was flung into the past gives birth to the first human/Vulcan hybrid. In later seasons, forms a romantic relationship with Trip.

Charles "Trip" Tucker III (Connor Trinneer), chief engineer of the Enterprise, and long-time friend of Captain Archer. Started off as a stereotypical hillbilly, but becomes more seasoned as the series runs, losing a sister in the Xindi attack. In later seasons, forms a romantic relationship with T'Pol.

Malcolm Reed (Dominic Keating), armory officer of the Enterprise, also in charge of ship security. Reed comes from a long line of Royal Navy men, but joined Starfleet due to a fear of drowning. An extremely taciturn man, his own family did not know his favorite food when asked. Due to an allergy for which he was taking medication, Dr. Phlox correctly assumed Reed enjoys pineapple.

Hoshi Sato (Linda Park), communications officer and linguistic genius. Capable of picking up alien languages extremely fast, Hoshi serves as the translator between the Enterprise crew and new alien species, even after the Universal Translator is on-line. Suffered anxiety about her place on board originally, but exposure to frequent danger helped her realize her value to the ship.

Travis Mayweather (Anthony Montgomery), helmsman. A "Space Boomer", Travis is unique on Enterprise being born in space. Son of a freighter captain, Travis knows many of the alien species as well as locations that Earth traders frequent. As Enterprise moves farther and farther from Earth, his value in this area lessens, but his skill at the helm is constantly appreciated, making him the pilot of choice for many missions.

Dr. Phlox (John Billingsley), chief medical officer. A member of the Inter-Species Medical Exchange, Phlox is brought aboard the Enterprise to care for their Klingon passenger. Afterward, he volunteers to stay on, delighting in the experience of humanity taking its first steps into the larger galactic stage. An exceedingly cheerful alien, Dr. Phlox uses many animals and various naturalistic cures to practice his trade, instead of the usual technological implements.

Ford and Chandler are enjoying their round of golf at a country club until they discover the body of the number one golf pro, Remy Burrell, buried in a bunker. When they get back to HQ Ford checks with upstairs and discovers that Remy has not arrived there. If he has not gone 'up' then he must have gone 'down' and that means he had made a Faustian deal at some time or other. Henry and Chandler are assigned to find out who killed him, why they did so and who got him to sign the deal in the first place.

While at a conference in Las Vegas, The Lone Gunmen run into the enigmatic Susanne Modeski (The Unusual Suspects). After deceiving Scully into joining them the trio soon find out that Susan's new fianc is planning to use her new brainwashing drug for political assassinations
